The VIP Complex (VIPC) is a government-controlled terminal facility within the Changi Airport compound, available only to government officials, diplomatic delegations, royalty, and other state-level officials.

Unlike standard airport transfers from the commercial terminal, this facility requires strict handling protocols and security arrangements, including embassy liaison, security coordination, convoy planning, and protocol timing with support vehicles for delegation members and staff.

How Does VIP Complex Terminal Ground Transportation Work?

At MySingaporeDriver, we provide VIPC Terminal ground transportation in Singapore in two main service formats: point-to-point transfer and hourly chauffeur service. The right arrangement depends on whether the guest only needs a fixed arrival or departure transfer, or requires a dedicated chauffeur and vehicle on standby for a wider programme.

Point-to-Point VIPC Terminal Transfer

A point-to-point VIPC transfer is best suited for guests travelling between the VIP Complex and one designated destination, such as a hotel, embassy, official residence, office, or event venue.

For airport arrivals, we monitor the flight and adjust the arrival time based on the actual landing time. This includes 60 minutes of waiting time for arrival transfers to account for the arrival process and coordination requirements.

For all other transfers, including departure movements or non-airport pickups, 15 minutes of waiting time is included.

Hourly VIPC Chauffeur Service

An hourly VIPC chauffeur service is more suitable when the guest requires flexibility after pickup. This is the better option when the itinerary includes multiple stops, schedule changes, standby time, or a need for the chauffeur to remain with the guest throughout the day.

This format is often used for diplomatic calls, official meetings, hotel movements, private visits, roadshows, and other programmes where timing may change. It is also the preferred arrangement when the client wants a consistent driver and vehicle throughout the booking duration, rather than separate transfer segments handled independently.

Mixed VIPC Transport Arrangements for Multi-Day Visits

Many VIP Complex terminal transport bookings are arranged as a combination of both formats. For example, a guest may require a point-to-point arrival transfer from VIPC on the first day, an hourly chauffeur service on meeting days, and a departure transfer back to VIPC at the end of the visit.
